“ It's a relatively small restaurant with ac so atmosphere was comfortable. Food was ok just a little pricey. Chinese tea is rm4 per head. Braised peanuts which they serve rm5. Deducted a star because of the three cup chicken. I have no idea why the three cup chicken had an almost "stinky" taste like we were eating pig intestine. That dish was a letdown. Other dishes we had were ok. Hotplate tofu was pretty good. Porridge is refillable at RM 2.50 per pax. And they automatically served green bean dessert at the end of our meal. Overall good to check out if u are craving some warm porridge on a cold and wet day. ”

When I stepped in, I noticed the warm, inviting atmosphere and the friendly staff who made the dining experience feel welcoming. I ordered the Goh Hiang Roll, which was a delightful choice. The crispy exterior and the flavourful, well-seasoned filling made it a great appetiser to kick off the meal. Each bite had a satisfying crunch, and the dipping sauce added a nice balance of sweetness and tanginess. It's a must-try if you're visiting. Next, I ventured into something more adventurous—the fried pork intestine with pineapple. I appreciated the creativity and effort behind this dish, which combined crispy fried pork intestine with the sweet acidity of pineapple. However, while the flavours were interesting, the smell of the intestine was a bit overwhelming for me. If you're a fan of strong offal flavours, you might enjoy it more than I did, but it was a little too intense for my palate. One of the unexpected highlights of the meal was the fried rice with sambal. I didn’t anticipate such a bold, flavourful twist on a simple dish. The sambal added a smoky, spicy depth that elevated the fried rice. It wasn’t overly spicy, just enough to enhance the taste without overpowering it. It was one of my favourite parts of the meal, and I would definitely order it again. A surprise was given when I paid for the meal: I got a free bowl of dessert, which was quite nicely prepared. Overall, Goh Zha Lang impressed me with its unique offerings and solid execution of traditional dishes. While the pork intestine dish wasn’t to my taste, it’s clear that the restaurant is committed to offering bold, authentic flavours that might appeal to more adventurous diners. I’ll definitely be returning to try more dishes, as their menu has a lot of intriguing options that I’m excited to explore. If you’re a fan of hearty, flavourful food with a bit of a twist, this place is worth visiting! ”

Although place was packed during peak hours but the serving of food was fast. Do not have to wait very long to get a seat too. ”
